This selection of case studies shows the sort of benefits that membership of the South West WARP can have.
The case studies can be found here.

In the context of emergency planning a useful working definition of a major emergency is any event (happening with or without warning) causing or threatening death or injury, damage to property or the environment or disruption to the community which, due to the scale of its effects, cannot be dealt with by the emergency services and local authorities as part of their day-to-day activities.
We have compiled a selection of useful links, containing information on Emergency planning here.

Emergency planning, Risk management, IT security policy, and information assurance are all areas where general knowledge greatly aids understanding. For this reason, we have compiled a selection of whitepapers, which should be thought provoking for those already have a knowledge of these areas, and informative for those who don't have the wealth of experience that others may have.
The whitepapers are available here
